Young Adult Ministry (YAM) encompasses all men and women in their twenties and thirties. We welcome Young Adults who are at their different stages of spiritual and life journeys. We strive to reach out to an age group that has not always been significantly recognized as a strong presence in the Church, but nevertheless, feels a strong need to belong. Through spiritual, social, community service, and educational experiences, we seek to foster community, while calling forth and affirming each other’s gifts.
We provide resources and support to individuals, young adult groups, and parishes, which are the foundation of Young Adult Ministry(HK). As we live, share, and grow in our Catholic faith, we help one another meet the daily challenge of embracing and integrating Gospel values in our lives.
The exciting challenge presented to the Young Adult Ministry(HK)™ is reaching an estimated 30,000 young adults in the Diocese of Hong Kong who were Roman Catholic. The potential for this age group to add life to the Church is enormous. Young Adult Ministry can help to refresh, rejuvenate, and renew parish life and ministry. The YAM(HK) helps today’s young adults become the leaders for tomorrow’s Church.
